About Nitric Oxide

HOW NITRIC OXIDE (NO) ACTS ON THE ORGANISM

Nitric oxide (NO) acts directly to relax and dilate the smooth muscles of blood vessel walls. This action increases blood flow and leads to a reduction in blood pressure. Additionally, nitric oxide promotes the improvement of lean body mass, muscle strength, and endurance by delivering nutrients to muscle tissue quickly and efficiently. Beyond its role as a neurotransmitter between nerve cells, it also functions as an immune system agent, helping the body fight off bacteria.
