Neurologist specialized in pain. He is the coordinator of The Pain Group of Neurology Department of HC (The Hospital of the Medical School of University of Sao Paulo) and Pain League of FMUSP

Dr. Ciampi is a medical doctor who received his medical degree from the University of São Paulo, specializing in neurology at the same university. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and holds a PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo, as well as being a Free Lecturer in the Department of Neurology at the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo. He also completed a subspecialization in chronic pain, neuromodulation for pain, and Movement Disorders at the University of Paris XI. He has worked as an attending physician at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo and the Division of Neurosurgery at the Hospital das Clínicas at the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo from 2009-2021. He is currently a professor at the Center for Pain and Neuroplasticity at Aalborg University in Denmark, where he has been appointed as an Associate Professor since November 2021.
