Gerseli Angeli, PhD

Dr. Angeli has as a degree in Physical Therapy from the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba in Brazil in 1998, a master’s degree in Rehabilitation from the Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP in 2003, and a doctorate in Rehabilitation from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo 2008. Currently, she serves as the scientific coordinator of CEMAFE – Center for Studies in Medicine of Physical Activity and Sports. She has expertise in Physiology, with a focus on Exercise Physiology, and her main research interests include exercise, motor activity, and physiology.

In addition to being a Physical Therapist, she is an Exercise and Sports Scientist at Physio Science, LLC, and a certified Sports Nutritionist, CISSN. Furthermore, she works as a columnist for EU ATLETA on globo.com.
